Honduras Partnership

Twenty-five years ago God called John Knox Church into a unique partnership with Flor del Campo, a slum community on the outskirts of the capital city of Tegucigalpa.  Much has changed since those early, scruffy days.  Many roads have been paved, sturdy concrete houses have replaced dilapidated shacks, children have been educated, viable micro businesses have been started, hearts have been touched. But one thing has remained the same: The love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit pervade all we do. If you haven't been to Honduras since those early days, why not come see how 25 years of support and friendship can change a community.  If you haven't yet experienced this precious partnership, now is the time.  We go to renew friendships (and  establish new ones!), to help improve homes and to celebrate with our Honduras family.  Fiesta!  

This year two teams will go to Honduras May 6-15. One to continue our 26 year relationship with the urban community of Flor del Campo and one to begin a new partnership with the impoverished village of Piedra Pintada. Trip includes worshiping with our amigos, work projects, touring Honduras country, a retreat with scholarship students and building relationships. All inclusive trip cost $1350.
